Sam joined Argent Institutional Trust in 2026. With over 40 years in financial services, Sam is responsible for expanding relationships with investment consultants and other key centers of influence, supporting Argent’s continued growth in institutional custody, trust, and related financial services. A significant portion of Sam’s career was spent with Archipelago Holdings and NYSE Group, where he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development from 1994 to 2009. As a member of Archipelago’s original management team, he helped transform the company from an emerging electronic trading platform into one of the world’s leading securities exchanges, contributing to its IPO in 2004 and subsequent merger with the New York Stock Exchange in 2006. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
